Dana White warns Merab Dvalishvili
The 32-year-old Georgian fighter has been vocal about his decision to not fight his friend Aljamain Sterling. Moreover, he even declined a shot at the title so that ‘Funk Master’ would get his rematch against Sean O’Malley. However, Dana White is not a fan of Dvalishvili’s actions. He questioned Dvalishvili’s mentality as a fighter for not wanting to see who’s the best in the UFC.

Furthermore, he mentioned that the UFC doesn’t do such things. Instead, White suggested that the Georgian fighter should consider fighting in other promotions. “If you don’t want to find who the best in the world is, this is not the place for you,” said Dana White.
It remains to be seen how the UFC will navigate such occurrences. Besides, they have never shied away from releasing fighters who create problems for the promotion’s executives.
Aljamain Sterling talks about his future
Fans have been talking about ‘Funk Master’s future in the UFC after his loss to Sean O’Malley at UFC 292. Meanwhile, in a recent video on YouTube, Aljamain Sterling laid out his probable plans going forward. First, he believes that his friend Merab Dvalishvili should fight for the title next. Sterling believes that he is the most credible fighter now to get the title shot.
When it comes to his plans, the former champion stated that he might stick around in the bantamweight division for a few fights. After that, he could move up to the featherweight division. “Maybe I stick around at ’35, take like a fight or two, and then maybe I explore ’45, or maybe I go right to ’45,” said Aljamain Sterling.

Dana White told ‘Sports Illustrated’, “I think Brock’s done. I don’t think he ever comes back.” Dana White may not be wrong in his claims about Lesnar never returning to the UFC again. He is 46 years old and has accomplished almost everything in the world of combat sports. However, anything can happen in MMA and fans will have to wait and see what unfolds in the days and months to come.
