Ronda Rousey walking into the professional MMA industry attracted a lot of attention. Her undefeated run in Strikeforce and UFC cemented her name as one of the best in the game. However, she faced her first loss at the hands of Holly Holm. Rousey’s second MMA loss was against Amanda Nunes.

However, Rousey has also fought outside of the cage. In an interview almost ten years old with ESPN, fans heard the MMA fighter talking about her altercation. It was with a group of men in a movie theatre.
She said, “I got jumped by a bunch of guys in a movie theatre and I beat them up, and then everyone clapped. And then, I was like ‘maybe I should fight in front of people’ because people tend to like it, you know.”

“That was one of my first MMA experience… it was like four couples. So it was like four guys and four girls and a couple of them like headed me off in the aisle. And like, it was like a thing. Their girlfriend was rude. I told her she was rude, and they tried to act tough in front of their girlfriend.”
“She like, was knocking me in the head with her food and just being, they were that group of people that were just rude and loud the whole movie. And so … I told the girl that I took her boot off and threw it after the movie and I told her ‘go get some manners’.”

“And then, her boyfriend didn’t like that and her boyfriend’s friends didn’t like that. And so, they headed me off of the aisle and told me to go get the boot. They wouldn’t let me leave and they pushed me …”

Ronda said she was in a kidnap situation. Thus, the fighter defended herself. However, according to her, she also got sued.

Moving ahead, she elaborated that since she was between the aisle seats and the wall, she could fight them one at a time.

She also explained that while she was punching a guy, another guy came and got her around the neck. However, Rousey was able to deal with both of them. Additionally, her cousin and a friend too were present at the incident.
