“F*** That Fat Pig”: Colby Covington Responds to Rosie O’Donnell’s Dig

Colby Covington has garnered quite a reputation for himself in the field of wittiness. The comments he makes dig deep for those at the receiving end. That’s the reason he has the image of a kind of an Anti-Hero in the UFC.
Yet, “Chaos” Covington‘s insults towards Kamaru Usman fell short when he lost to the “Nigerian Nightmare.” He received heavy criticism in his own style from people around the globe.
Although one would accept the minor set-back due to the loss, Covington does not. He believes the fight was unfair and thus has taken to replying to those who came after him post-loss.

One such personality was comedian, author, actor, and producer Rosie O’Donnell.

She wrote, “best fight ever watching him limp out with a broken jaw #f*ckoffcolby #ufc”.
Hence proved, Covington has managed to pit even celebrities outside of the UFC against him. Even though the comment majorly comes because of Covington’s political outspokenness, it was enough to trigger Chaos.
Colby Covington responds to Rosie O’Donnell
Immediately after the fight with Kamaru, Colby had gone off the grid. When he did reappear, he let the world know that nothing about him has changed. In his response to Rosie O’Donnell’s tweet, he said,
“Rosie O’Donnell? What the f*ck has Rosie O’Donnell ever done? She’s losing 10-8 rounds to obesity. She’s losing 10-8 rounds to Donald Trump on f*cking Twitter. Who is she to talk about Colby “Chaos” Covington? She’s never f*cking fought. She hasn’t done sh*t!”

“The only thing she’s fighting for (is) all the women who are leaving her because they’re trying to come to me and they’re sweating me on Instagram. So f*ck Rosie O’Donnell, that fat pig.”
One word. Disgusting.
The comments Colby made display the kind of person he is. In response to regular trash-talk, Colby dug too deep for his comments to be considered harmless.

The statements that were targetted at O’Donnell’s weight and sexuality are just too low, even for Colby. When someone is placed at a pedestal, one is expected to keep in mind the problems that the world faces, not aggravate them.
And of course, Rosie O’Donnell does not fight. But she has done much more in her field and for society as a whole than Colby thinks she has.
Although Colby is a terrific fighter, there is a fine line between trash-talking and passing absurd remarks which such casual confidence. And that difference must be maintained.
