Fan Attacks Conor McGregor at Press Conference in Russia:-“If You Can’t Take It Then Don’t Give It”

Conor McGregor fought Khabib Nurmagomedov last year in October. However, the impact of that fight can still be seen. During the fight promotion, McGregor said many things that he probably should not have. He made a few controversial remarks on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s family and religion. That certainly made Khabib Nurmagomedov as well as his fans unhappy.

Conor McGregor recently went through an ugly altercation with an angry fan in a press conference during his tour of Russia where the fan threw a soda bottle at Conor McGregor. Luckily he missed McGregor and nobody was hurt.

It seemed the fans was mad at McGregor because of some remarks he made on Dagestani people. Explaining the reason for calling Dagestani people coward, McGregor replied :

“They sold items in the groceries with my face on it shut up you fool”

The local grocers in Russia were selling chicken named McGregor which is believed to be the reason McGregor made those comments as he said to the fans.

After the fan threw the soda bottle at former UFC two division champion, McGregor said:

“Maybe they should not have sold chicken in the grocery stores with my face on it. Who is the chicken, I am right here in Press conference in this country. If you can’t take it then don’t give it. Simple as that”.

Conor McGregor recently announced that he will be making his UFC return in January 18th of 2020 in Las Vegas. However, he did not announce the name of his next opponent.

Conor McGregor also said that the rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov is inevitable even if Nurmagomedov does not want it. McGregor said after the fight on Jan 18th next year, he would be open to fight the winner of Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal or the winner of Tony Ferguson vs Khabib Nurmagomedov.
