Conor McGregor’s return has opened up opportunities for a lot of fighters. After his win over Cowboy Cerrone, he called out a lot of people including Paul Felder. Since “The Irish Dragon” already had a fight lined up for him, he didn’t immediately cater to Conor’s call out. Now that the Dan Hooker bout is behind him, Paul Felder has no issue in accepting the challenge by the Irishman.

A rehabbing Felder sat down with The Schmo at UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. He discussed various issues with the biggest of them being a call out from McGregor himself. He recognised that the opportunity to fight “The Notorious One” could result in a big pay-day for him. Conor brings with himself a plethora of attention that also gets translated to monetary benefits for his opponents.

Paul was a ringside commentator for UFC 246. There were a lot of big names present in the MGM Grand Garden Arena on that night. People were expecting Conor to call out Kamaru Usman or Jorge Masvidal, both of whom were in the audience. Felder’s name, though taken indirectly, shocked a lot of people.

Although Dana has said that he wants McGregor to fight the winner of Khabib vs Tony. But Conor knows that spending some time in the Octagon with the quality competition that Felder provides is a much better idea than going straight against either of the two juggernauts.
