“Joe Never Did Me Wrong”- Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Manager Comes Out in Support For Veteran UFC Matchmaker

Dominance MMA president Ali Abdelaziz has offered his support to ex-match maker Joe Silva amidst a host of accusations by various fighters.

Several fighters have lashed out at Silva for putting unwanted pressure on them and making them sign deals for cut prices. Ex-UFC fighter, Mike Pierce revealed that Silva put undue pressure on him and told him to, “perform how I expect or you’re gone”.

Similarly, another UFC veteran Sam Stout claimed that he only received $2,000 for his first octagon appearance from his former employer.

Several fighters have called out the UFC over various contractual disputes. Top fighters such as Jon Jones and Jorge Masvidal have openly criticized the organization, for paying them too less and making them sign-extended 8 fight contracts.

‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor recently announced his retirement from the sport due to a lack of fight offers.

Despite, various complaints Ali Abdelaziz feels that it’s the fault of the fighters, for signing contracts they don’t want in the first place. In addition, Ali revealed that none of his fighters sign 8 fight contracts.

“Why you didn’t tell him this when he was a matchmaker”- Ali Abdelaziz

“I see a lot of people bashing Joe Silva But the question is why you didn’t tell him this when he was a matchmaker. I know I did. Honestly, Joe never did me wrong. It’s completely up to us to agree or disagree on deals,” said Ali Abdelaziz on Twitter.

Joe Silva is considered a pioneer in the sport and has been a matchmaker for over 21 years. UFC President Dana White and commentator Joe Rogan have publicly praised the matchmaker for his contribution to the sport.
