Conor McGregor often makes controversial statements. Thus, he lives up to his ‘The Notorious’ moniker. His in-person banters are often taken lightly because of his antics. However, social interactions don’t have an emotion to them, but only a name attached. Although the Irish fighter is famous for his tweet & delete approach, there are many tweets in his archive that are still online that he would want to remove.

In 2013, when Conor McGregor was yet to make his UFC debut, he responded to a post from UFC’s Twitter handle. When the UFC put a tweet about Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche, who were about to make history with their bout, ‘The Notorious’ chimed in with a weird remark.
@ufc @iamgirlrilla @rondarousey I'm gonna watch this shit butt naked #WomensMMA #FuckingAwesome
— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) February 21, 2013
The dual Cage Warriors world champion wrote, “@ufc @iamgirlrilla @rondarousey I’m gonna watch this sh*t b*tt naked #WomensMMA #F**kingAwesome.”
The UFC 157 PPV headliner between Ronda Rousey and Liz Carmouche was the first-ever women’s fight in UFC history. Besides, it was for the bantamweight championship and a five-round main event.

This wasn’t the first occasion Conor McGregor made questionable comments about women’s MMA. McGregor once had to apologize to Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate for his comments about them.

The Irish superstar, in response to a fan, passed a cheeky comment on his part. However, the comment received backlash as it was disrespectful towards former women’s bantamweight champions ‘Rowdy’ and ‘Cupcake‘.
McGregor quoted an offensive line from the song Dr. Dre’s “Let’s Get High” to respond to a question about Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate.
McGregor, thus, apologized publicly to both women’s fighters.
Miesha Tate knew ‘The Notorious’ wasn’t trying to be disrespectful towards them and accepted the apology.
@TheNotoriousMMA its all good, appreciate the apology but I knew you were just joking!

These two even have an iconic picture of them with UFC President Dana White, who posted it on his Twitter account. And ‘The Notorious’ had a perfect phrase to describe his and Rousey’s bond and importance in the UFC.
