The former women’s bantamweight champion and a mega PPV draw for the UFC said, “I understand promoting fights and having to sell them, I really do… But I don’t think people have to get arrested in order to do that.”
Rousey presented herself as an example to sell the fights without ever going too far. Later she said, “I [am] just glad both guys are healthy.”
‘The Arm Collector‘ appreciated the quality of the contest; Rousey added, “I’m kind of sorry it’s been soured by the aftermath. I feel like their performances aren’t going to get enough credit because of what happened.”
