Ronda Rousey was the first-ever female UFC signee. She always attracted a mainstream audience because of her charismatic personality and, of course, the domination inside the Octagon. ‘Rowdy’ appeared on Late Night shows, on magazine covers, in movies, and in many star-studded events. Though many of these were part of her schedule, one thing that she especially wanted to do was strip down for a magazine. The Olympian Judoka had a very peculiar reason for it.

Rousey was a brash talker who got into the Strikeforce title bout because of her skill and persona. The Rowdy One once revealed that her actions were instinctive, and she got to know more about herself after her book – ‘My Fight, Your Fight.’
The former six-time women’s bantamweight champion called her stripping down for ESPN Body Issue a ‘defensive thing.’

Rousey elaborated and said, “It was because of that one ex. We called him ‘Snappers McCreepy,’ because we caught him taking naked pictures of me.”
The Arm Collector, who appeared for ESPN Body Issue in her early MMA career, added, “The first thing I did was take naked pictures for ESPN. If it’s going to get out there, then I want it to get out there on my terms.”
The Judoka also added her heel persona was a defense mechanism against hate from fans.

The former Strikeforce bantamweight champion’s habit of staying updated with her fans let her to the pics her boyfriend had on his computer.
Rousey detailed the incident in her the same interview with ‘Opie Radio’ show on SiriusXM. Also, she revealed how she ‘retaliated‘ against her boyfriend.

Later, the bantamweight queen, Rowdy Ronda, was spotted in the Maxim, and Sports Illustrated magazines as well.
After retiring from the sport (MMA), the UFC Hall of Fame athlete found her footing in the WWE.
