Shaun White Thanks Fans For Supporting His Brand ‘Whitespace’ Post Retirement from Snowboarding

3-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White quit snowboarding after the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Sadly, he couldn’t medal in any event at this year’s Olympics.

However, he remains the only male snowboarder to successfully defend their Olympic championship. Moreover, he also has the most number of Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder.

Now, with his snowboarding career behind him, White has delved into other avenues. In that vein, his brand WHITESPACE is one of the many pies with his fingers in them.

Shaun White has now taken to Instagram to express his happiness and appreciation for his fans and their support of the Whitespace.

The Whitespace is Shaun White‘s own brand, that deals in activewear and snowboarding equipment, and apparel. Whitespace is quite new, and it is a given that White is going to be putting time and resources into its growth going forward.

Moreover, the 35-year-old had released Whitespace in 2016, which was a male-focused clothing line. However, now he has merged the clothing line with his bigger Whitespace brand, now has become the kid’s section in the bigger website.

Before the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022, Shaun had put up plenty of snowboards for pre-sale on his website. Now, after the games are over, he took to Instagram to state how “they’re pretty much sold out,” with just 4 days of the (pre) sale remaining. “Wow, this is crazy,” the former snowboarder ecstatically expressed.

“I wanted to stop and make this video and say thank you,” he said. “Thank you so much for supporting me and supporting the brand,” White continued, referring to how his snowboards were almost sold out with half a week of the presale still left.

White then talked about what Whitespace personally means to him? He iterated- “This brand means the world to me. I’m starting it with my brother and we’re going to do really great things,” the 3-time Olympic gold medalist said.

Addressing all those who bought one of his Whitespace boards, Shaun stated that he “cannot wait to see these boards ripping around the mountains next seasons.”

“To everybody that got a board, that’s awesome, and thank you so much,” White expressed.

Not only is Shaun White excited to see his boards on the snow, but he is also excited to join the slopes. “I’ll see you on the mountain,” he finished addressing his fans and customer base, which have, and will continue to support his personal brand.
