After retiring from bodybuilding, Arnold Schwarzenegger has never entered any other sporting community. He instead dedicated himself toward his dream of acting and is one of the most prominent actors in Hollywood. However, it seems like boxing has left its mark on Schwarzenegger lately.

As a new year present to his fans and followers, Schwarzenegger introduced his daily newsletter, The Pump Daily, to the public. Through this daily digest, the legend helps people achieve their health and fitness goals. Hence, in his recent newsletter, Schwarzenegger advised people on how to beat sickness by using a boxing analogy. He wrote, “Taking care of your health can feel like a fight. That’s because, at some point, we all get hit in the face.”

According to Schwarzenegger, the “hit” can hit a person in various forms, including illness or even lack of motivation, but he wants his fans to pick the glove. Like Schwarzenegger, one does not have to enter the boxing ring to fight certain difficult situations in life. But he used the sport as a metaphor to ‘fight back’.

He further added, “Much like a fight, when you get hit, it’s important to counterpunch and hit back. A counterpunch can be positive self talk, a return to your healthier routine, or even doing something small like going for a 10-minute walk or adding a serving of vegetables to your plate”

Boxing is a sport that always lifts people up and gives them the motivation to hit back, be it punching a bag or an opposition. Thus, the bodybuilder seems to have used the power-packed sport to encourage his subscribers to fight back against any hardships they face.

Training without a gym

At the beginning of every new year, several people pledge to take their health seriously and hit the gym. But within a month or two, they give up on these resolutions due to a lack of motivation or proper training. To change this, Schwarzenegger introduced The Daily Pump newsletter.
