One of the Most Horrifying Bull Riding Videos Captured Angry Bull Leaving Cowboy in Saddening State Once

For both the riders and the spectators, the excitement of a bull riding event is unparalleled. Aside from the excitement, rodeo is very risky for the participants since the bull that throws off the rider usually does not spare the rider’s life. Many cowboys have died in this sport, but the excitement surrounding it persists. Chris Shivers, who has won the PBR world championship twice, came very close to dying once.

Untamed & Uncut, which airs on Animal Planet’s official YouTube channel, highlighted retired American cowboy Chris Shivers’s near-death experience. Originally occurring during the 1998 PBR Boise Bull Riding Blowout in Idaho, this event has now gone viral, appearing on several television programs and making the rounds on the internet.

Shorty could have shortened the life-span of the American cowboy

The arena during the 1998 PBR Boise Bull Riding Blowout in Boise, Idaho, was packed. Chris Shivers became a pro in 1997 with an eye on the PBR World Finals. But he couldn’t have known that things wouldn’t go according to plan. Shorty, a Mexican fighting bull owned by Dan Russell, was put up against Shivers. Despite Shorty’s best efforts to knock him out, the cowboy remained standing for quite some time after the metal chute had been removed. Eventually, though, Shivers knocked off the bull and lay unconscious on the ground, and the bull was in no mood to leave the cowboy alone.

The smooth ride quickly turned terrifying as the bull began charging and repeatedly ramming Shivers with its horns. The other security personnel in the ring, whose duty it is to keep the cowboys safe, quickly arrived and did an excellent job of diverting the animal’s attention away from Shivers. Despite the best efforts of the rescuers, the bull eventually made his way back to Shivers. After another blow from the bull, Shivers was forced to retreat to the safety of the metal chute. The crowd fell silent as they took in Shivers’ precarious predicament, but he was able to let everyone know he was fine by raising his arms as he was taken off the stadium by the paramedics.

After this, Shivers continued his success, winning the PBR World Finals in 2000 and 2003. The cowboy’s 16-year PBR career came to an end with the 2012 season when he retired with roughly $3.3 million in earnings.
