World chess champion Magnus Carlsen’s intellectual gifts are not just confined to the game of chess. His wordplay is even stronger than his chess moves. In fact, certain comments and banters by him often leave people dazed. The Norwegian Grand Master never misses an opportunity to take a dig at fellow players, other athletes, or anything that he finds intriguing.

For almost a decade now, Carlsen has been dominating the game of chess in almost every format. The World No. 1 recently added another victory to his tally. He defeated Polish Grand Master, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, in the finals of the Charity Cup. After winning both the tournaments, Magnus has the sole lead in the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour 2022.

Fans react to a claim Magnus Carlsen made on Twitter

Hanging out with Magnus Carlsen will surely be a lot of fun since he always has the wittiest reply in his quiver for almost every situation. In light of some hilarious banter, the world chess champion has declared himself a “meme machine.”

Carlsen’s claim immediately got the attention of Twitterati and soon he received many reactions to his post. While most of them actually believe Carlsen’s claim is right, some think he is being boastful.

In reference to the recent Oscar controversy, one guy replied to Carlsen saying, “Prove it, recreate the Will Smith oscar meme with David Howell.” However, it seems next to impossible that Carlsen would consider such a demand.

The funniest reaction was from this account, which shared a tweet from Elon Musk that said, “Seize the memes of productions.” He wrote in the caption, “Are you challenging @elonmusk ?”
