Olivia Dunne’s style statement never gets old. The social media starlet already flaunts millions of fans and has a similar glittery presence in the fashion world. So when the NCAA gymnastics season is nearing an emphatic end for the LSU Tigers, the poster girl has teased her fans with a new avatar. This time Olivia Dunne has collaborated with someone who holds unparalleled recognition from the fashion world. This engagement seems to pave an alternative path for Livvy’s exploration of the fashion world.

Should Olivia Dunne switch to modeling?

Olivia Dunne is still in a dilemma regarding her retirement decision. But Sports Illustrated brought up a special present for her fans. In an engaging mode, SI Swimsuit’s IG handle posted a carousel of bikini models on Friday. Among the faces of Penny Lane, Dr. Nina Cash, and Sharina Gutierrez, the Tiger lady found her appearance in that carousel.

Eventually, through the lenses of British iconic photographer Ben Watts, the models’ faces looked radiant. So, aligning with that, the caption went, “F R I D AY E N E R G Y”.  In the photos, Olivia attracted a special note. From the swimsuit representation, this time, she flaunted a cream-colored bikini. However, her athletic physique received far more limelight in that visual.

Showing a thumbs up, the former national champion figuratively implied her mood. But Olivia Dunne’s engagement with the Swimsuit Illustrator isn’t new. She has worked with Watts before as well.

The recognition of an empowering message

In 2023 as well, Olivia Dunne was clicked by Ben Watts for the Swimsuit Illustrator. At that time, the exotic sand beaches in Puerto Rico employed a stunning background in that photo shoot. After watching herself in such a charismatic position, Livvy expressed, “Oh My God…these pictures are amazing. I am having the best time ever.” Meanwhile, SI took a special interest in the gymnast after a serious situation came up in 2022.

In 2022, Olivia Dunne’s stand against ‘The New York Times’ projection of her as a s*x symbol attracted SI to consider her as the potential face of the magazine. The Times published a feature titled ‘New Endorsements for College Athletes Resurface an Old Concern: S*x Sells’ which didn’t sit well with her. Thus, she hit back on her Instagram story. Since then, the SI collaboration has been flouting all stereotypes active in the sports and fashion world.
