Atlanta Braves are one of the most balanced sides in Major League Baseball. And that is the main reason, why they are sitting on the throne of the World Champions. However, the 2022 season is going to be very challenging for them to retain their World Series title.

Days before the kick-off of the 2022 MLB season, the Atlanta Braves have received disheartening news, as their relief pitcher Luke Jackson is set to miss a lot of games for the Braves in 2022. Atlanta Braves reliever Luke Jackson has damaged his UCL ahead of the regular season

UCL i.e., Ulnar Collateral Ligament, is one of the most common and complicated injuries that happen to a baseball pitcher. This is the same injury that often results in a Tommy John surgery. And with such types of injuries, a player usually misses an entire season. And the same is likely to happen with the Braves pitcher. Even if he manages to recover in a quick time, it will take him at least a year.

Taking to Twitter, the Atlanta Braves informed about Jackson’s injury on Saturday. As per the Braves’ official statement, right-handed pitcher Luke Jackson went through an MRI scan.
