“Haven’t Taken a Honeymoon”: Despite a Happy Marriage Simone Biles Forced to Put Time With Her Husband Jonathan Owens on Hold

American artistic gymnast, Simone Biles married her longtime boyfriend, Jonathan Owens in a gala wedding in May. Since then till now, a lot has changed. The queen of gymnastics announced her comeback to the mat, while Owens moved to Wisconsin with the Green Bay Packers. Biles and Owens keep their fans updated about every athletic and private moment, whether it’s an Olympics update, engagement, wedding, or birthday party.

Recently, Biles opened up on her social media about her happy marriage and relationship with her husband. Fans asked her numerous questions to which she honestly gave answers. The gymnast also opened up about her honeymoon and gave an update to her fans.

Biles and her NFL athlete husband are living their best time together in this happy marriage. But they also face some difficulties. For instance, Biles will be competing in the U.S. Classic which is scheduled to begin on 4th August. And when this is over, she will be solely focusing on her training for the Olympics.

Owens also has a similar schedule and is currently training for his next NFL match with the Green Bay Packers, against the Bengals on 12th August. Now, the pair get very little time to spend with each other. Simone recently posted a Q&A on her Instagram story to engage with her fans, and one user asked her about the highlight of her honeymoon. Biles candidly responded to this by saying, “We haven’t taken a honeymoon yet.” She said, the couple have already decided where to go to celebrate their marriage but they have to figure out their schedules. Another user asked her how often she sees her husband, to which she replied by explaining their schedule and long-distance relationship dynamics.

Simone Biles is currently residing in Houston, Texas training for U.S. Classic and the Olympics, and Owens is playing for the Green Bay Packers which means he has to stay with the team in Wisconsin. they have a distance of 1096 miles which makes it a journey of more than 19 hours travel for each side. Simone seemed upset saying that she does not really see her husband often, however their happy marriage is intact.

When the pair first met, Owens did not know who Simone Biles is, a fact that she liked.
