“You Need to Be a Big Girl”: At 25, Simone Biles Finally Takes a Huge Adulting Challenge for Herself

Winning medals is not always an achievement; sometimes, ‘trying’ can be equivalent to winning. Having won 25 World Championships medals, competitors hardly stood a chance when Simone Biles performed at the vault. Leading through examples, Biles, yet again, shows how to face one’s horrors!

No, this time, Biles is not mastering one of her complicated gymnastics moves. She is just pushing her boundary, challenging her limits, and inspiring people to acknowledge that even small things are nothing less than an achievement. Simone Biles, yet again, leads by example!

Sometimes back, Simone took to her Instagram stories to share a video. In the video clip, the 25-year-old was seen driving. As she concentrated on the road, she parted some words of wisdom for her 6.7 million Instagram family. Giving a quick update, the gymnast said, “I just started my road trip.”

Adding more, the new aunt also revealed that this is the first time that she is attempting to drive for such long hours. Though for many, taking such long drives can be a regular occurrence, for Biles, it was her first. For someone who has not driven solo for more than “an hour and a half,” driving for “three hours” is but a mountainous task.

Though she was “nervous” at first and thought she “can’t do it, she eventually gave it a try. After a lot of self-motivating and constant reminders of “you need to be a big girl,” Simone finally took the challenge up front! Following her own legacy, she again pushed her limits and showed the world the ‘courage to sour.’ Though she won’t be winning gold this time, she does have a story that she can proudly pat her back and say, “so brave for me.”

Does Simone make it successfully through the trip?

After Simone posted her driving video, she again took to the social site to inform her Instagram family that she had finally reached the destination. Though she did not spill any information about where she was traveling, the fans must be happy to see her reach safely.

Sharing the quick update, “I made it btw,” Simone further added, “Proud of myself. This time Simone preferred to stay behind the lens. In the shared frame, Simone is seen relaxing on a big comfy brown couch with a warm gray blankie. For those unversed, Simone remains active on social media. Though she prefers to keep her life private, she occasionally gives a sneak peek into her mundane life, which the fans love!
