Shaun White may well be a snowboarding icon, but even he must make sure Christmas isn’t a bore for the kids. What better way to get some thrill into the festivities than by inspiring future generations to take up snowboarding? White is a three-time Olympic gold winner and thirteen-time Winter X Games gold medalist. Naturally, he’s considered a legend by many and this Christmas, he’s celebrating the occasion with his new book and donning the hat of metaphorical Santa.

The Olympian’s newly launched book Airborne has created quite a stir among fans and enjoyers of the sport. The popular halfpipe snowboarder has taken to social media to share stories of children worldwide being introduced to snowboarding by the book.

Legendary snowboarder spreading joy

While White has been seen publicly with beau Nina Dobrev, the Canadian actress, they are yet to welcome a new member to the family. However, White’s latest series of stories on Instagram will surely many see another side of the crazy gravity-defying legend that he is. Being overjoyed to see kids picking up their first snowboard, along with having his book by them, is something that seems to make Shaun elated.

In one Instagram story, White has shared a video clip of two children opening their Christmas gifts. The boys rip off the wrapping and a signed copy of Airborne can be seen. In another image, the siblings can be seen grinning widely as they pose, holding copies of the book. The fan wrote, “Thank you, Shaun White“.

In another Insta story, another of White’s fans can be seen holding the book against a brilliantly decorated Christmas tree and with the caption, “A very Airborne Christmas“. For White’s fans, it looks like Christmas is indeed special with all the free time on their hands and making sure they have something from their favorite snowboarder to keep them company.

Spending the holidays with his significant other

While his fans are having the time of their lives getting up close and personal with their role model, White seems to having a secluded vacation with the love of his life. Along with sharing pictures of his fans anticipating new insights into Shaun’s accolades, the Olympian has also shared more images from their vacation in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, along with Nina Dobrev.
