Recently, he agreed to a lucrative contract to represent the Qatar World Cup in 2022. In addition, he has agreed to a ten-year contract worth a staggering $277 million.

The Twitter handle of The Peninsula Qatar shared a video ad of David Beckham about Qatar. They captioned the video, “Qatar Tourism launches marketing campaign featuring #DavidBeckham.” However, after seeing the advertisement, the people lashed out at the star.

One user wrote, “Beckham the hypocrite – promoting gay rights then this! Morales easily bought.” However, another showcased his anger with words, “All that homophobia, misogyny, corruption, and modern slavery sounds utterly joyous!”
