Long-distance running serves as more than just a physical challenge; it symbolizes the resilience, determination, and human spirit of individuals. The Marathon route covers a distance of 42.195 km and includes different routes like Route 16, Route 165, Route 30, and many more.

The route of the Boston Marathon 2024 will wind through various charming cities and towns in Massachusetts, including Framingham, Ashland, Wellesley, Natick, Brookline, and Newton. In contrast to the Marathon’s flatter terrain, the Boston Marathon is characterized by its challenging hills.

While the “Heartbreak Hill” is the most challenging part of the race, between miles 20 and 21 in Newton, runners always prepare themselves for the other hills.
