The celebrity athlete with a godlike presence. Zlatan Ibrahimovi? has won over the world and soccer fans with his incredible game and confident manner.

Mondo Duplantis was one of the many people who was left surprised at the sight of Zlatan. When asked on ?Real Talk with Tee? if he has ever been starstruck, Mondo had a story to tell. On the show he talked about how he almost met Zlatan and said, “in Sweden he is pretty much like god-level.”??

Starstruck by Zlatan’s presence

In the podcast ‘Real Talk with Tee’ Mondo Duplantis recalled his moment about the time he saw Zlatan. He was in Monza for a F1 race and there he crossed paths with Zlatan Ibrahimovi?.

Because of of everything being hectic he was unable to talk to him. He was frozen in his path and spellbound by the player knowing that Zlatan is worshipped like a god in Sweden.

Talking to the “Real talk with Tee” he said, “that was the bit of a starstruck feeling because in Sweden he is pretty much like right next to god level”. He further added, that Ibrahimovic is the “Biggest Thing to Ever Come Out of Sweden

On the other hand, Mondo Duplantis recently broke the world record for the Pole Vault. In 2023 Diamond League final Duplantis reached a feat that no one ever have. Breaking the pole vault record the seventh time. At the final of the 32023 Diamond League, Duplantis cleared the Pole Vault at 6.23 meters. Surpassing his own record of 6.22 meters. This was the seventh time for the athlete.

The Zlatan Ibrahimovi? effect

This is not the first time that someone had been struck by the confidence of Zlatan Ibrahimovi?. His stories of the god like confidence are nothing new to soccer fans around the world. Through the end of his soccer career, Zlatan moved to LA Galaxy where he printed out a full-page advertisement in LA Times saying “Dear Los Angeles, you?re welcome?.

Now that Zlatan is retired and Mondo Duplantis is gearing up for Paris Olympics 2024, it is left to be seen will he be breaking more world records and bring home the glory.
