On October 13, SponsorUnited, the top global sports and entertainment intelligence platform released its 2022 Women In Sports Report. The report examined brand partnerships across teams and individual athletes for collegiate and professional sports. The report tracked more than 700,000 sponsorships and endorsements across 200,000 brands. In the released findings, it has been observed that Alex Morgan is the most endorsed female athlete of the year.

With more than 27 brand deals, the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) player beat past Ali Krieger, Serena Williams, and Naomi Osaka.

As the athletes climb the ladder of success, their brand value increases. They become not only their fan’s favorites but also Global stars and Youth Icons. This broadens their mass appeal and makes the brands interested in potential collaboration. With her immense popularity, Alex Morgan grabbed some key brand partnership deals that made her the most’ Endorsed Female Athlete of 2022.’

For the unversed, in 2022, she secured 27 sponsorship deals, which is more than any athlete in the NBA, NFL, MLS, MLB, or NHL. The top three female athletes with the most endorsements in 2021—Ali Krieger, Serena Williams, and Naomi Osaka—were over taken by Morgan.
