When asked whether she would run for congress, she said, “Sounds like a nightmare. I mean, I have a lot of ideas, but if I ran for office, I’d have to scrub my whole social media.” She was not happy with the fact that she would have to limit her social media handles as well as live with a lot of restrictions as a politician.

Rapinoe is all set to collaborate with Nike Designers in 2023. Speaking on how people will react to her lucrative fashion sense after becoming a politician, she said, “Nobody’s perfect, and yet if you become a politician, suddenly, you can’t do anything—even wear anything—without people going crazy.“
