In an interview, Megan Rapinoe revealed that her role model was none other than 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams. Despite both being from different sports, Williams has been an influential figure for Rapinoe. She talks about how Williams dominates everywhere she goes, whether it be on the tennis court or in any event or on any issue. She has been a real superstar for our superstar!

“She’s a complete bada**,” Rapinoe starts with a compliment towards the 23-time Grand Slam champion.

“(Serena’s) doing it all with such style, doing it in the face of so much adversity and controversy,” Rapinoe said and continued, “She hasn’t really been allowed to be just Serena Williams, there’s always something that comes with it.” 

The way she expressed her feelings for Williams demonstrates how much she admires her.
