Michael Phelps has a swimming career that is nothing short of legendary. The 38-year-old has competed throughout his life to stand as the most decorated Olympian of all time with a total of 28 medals. Michael started his Olympic career as a 19-year-old contestant at 2004 Athens; where he tied the record for 8 medals of any color. The swimming champion has been an inspiration for all athletes. However, his kids are about to make the name “Phelps” known at a sport far from swimming.

Michael and his wife Nicole have been parents to three sons ever since they tied the knot in 2017. Be it posing in matching swimwear or standing happy for the final month of school, Michael’s three boys have livened up Nicole’s feed. Today, yet again, the family has extended love and support as the boys, Boomer, and Beckett sport their newly attained soccer jerseys.

On the 18th of October, Nicole took to Instagram to post a picture of her two sons, Boomer (8) and Beckett (6). The two boys were captured in Leeds United Jerseys with ‘Phelps’ written on the backs. Captioning the post Nicole speculated a possible other sport in the family. Adding a blue and a yellow heart, Nicole wrote, “maybe there’s football in our future.”

Interestingly, Leeds United announced Michael Phelps as one of the top investors in the team earlier this year. Following along with the excitement and the new look of the family, the fans had an adoring reaction to the update.

Fans love the new look

The couple garnered a loving and loyal fan base over time. With every update by them, the spectators have grown to adore the boys. Now as the two posed, fans were all heart. “Oh my god! Adding on, one of the longtime fans shared her adoration watching them grow. “I have absolutely loved watching these boys grow up. No matter what these boys do. Their futures are gonna be fantastic.” While another had a teasing reaction to the family’s possible winning streak. “Thank God man I can finally try in Olympics.”

As hearts and flowers poured in the comments, people calling the duo cute had no limit. “So cute,” “Precious. Handsome boys,” “They are so darn cute !” and the love just flowed in. Interestingly, good old American Football has always had a presence in the family but not Soccer. Michael’s father played football back in college and even tried out for Washington Commanders. Michael is a big fan of the sport; he has attended various NFL games to show support for his hometown team Baltimore Ravens and the Michigan Wolverines in college. However, with history taking a different course, the Phelps family might see a newer sports field.
