Ten youngsters, including Sunnah and Joe, encountered treacherous waves. Despite being airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, both children sadly succumbed to their injuries. The funeral for Sunnah Khan at High Wycombe Mosque in her hometown of Buckinghamshire drew a remarkable gathering of over 200 individuals. This unique turnout is a testament to the profound impact Sunnah had on the lives of those around her.

Meanwhile, a man in his 40s, who was present in the water during the incident, was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. He has since been released, but inquiries are ongoing. Eyewitnesses have recounted that swimmers were caught in a dangerous riptide, leading to this devastating loss of life.
