The reason behind fan’s excitement for World Athletics Championships 2022

This year, the events are going to be even more breathtaking, which is evident from the brilliant performance of American athletes at the recent USATF Outdoor Championship, specifically the 100m event. All athletes completed the event below the 10-second mark in the race, which is a significant feat.

In the semi-finals, Fred Kerley clocked an astonishing 9.76s, the sixth fastest time in history and a new world lead. Moreover, the sprinter went on to clinch the gold in the finals with a time of 9.77s.

The meet will also see the likes of Christian Coleman, Erriyon Knighton, Elaine Thompson-Herah, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. Therefore, it is likely that the records of Usain Bolt and Florence Griffith Joyner will face substantial challenges from these athletes.

And athletes in other track and field events were not far behind. Therefore, people will witness a brilliant performance from the US team at the meet. However, it will not be easy as prominent athletes from around the globe will join the US athletes this year at the venue.
