‘Age is just a number’ is a famous phrase that is often proved right by athletes in various sports arenas. And their achievements never cease to amaze their fans. A similar amusing anecdote was captured in the 2022 Marathon. Last year at the Honolulu Marathon, the event celebrated its 50th birthday, and around 27,000 runners took part in the 26.2-mile race.

The tracks from Downtown to Hawaii Kai and back to Waikiki were covered by the runners, but a 92-year-old woman, Mathea Allansmith, outshined all the other runners. She became the oldest woman to complete the marathon when she was 92 years and 194 days old. Now, her triumph became a Guinness World Record after Marathon World Record gave approval for this. What did she say after being a world record holder?
