However, returning to his Serbian roots, Stevan Mićić added another star to the team’s dazzle. The US grown-up athlete always had a thing for his Serbian soil in him. He recently vowed for the top performing soccer team on his social media account where another Serbian athlete has been representing the giant in the Premier League.

All his love for Tottenham Hotspur
Taking to his Instagram, Stevan posted a story about Tottenham’s invincible performance this season. The story has a collaged photo of the top stars at the soccer club. Placed at the top out of 20 teams in the Premier League, carrying out a phenomenal winning strike in the current season. With Son Heung-Min scoring as many as 7 goals, the team has thrashed the best contenders for the title so far.

Stevan Mićić won it for both sides
Celebrating his favorite soccer team as they top the chart, Stevan has been a real example of dedication and taking chances at the right time. Born in Mesa, Arizona, United States, to parents Stevan and Lori Mićić, Mićić grew up in Northwest Indiana within the Serbian culture. Before switching to Serbia in 2018, he competed for the USA till 2016. He won two bronze medals at the European Championships and became Serbia’s first Olympian in Freestyle Wrestling.
In September 2023, Mićić made history by winning Serbia’s first-ever men’s freestyle world title at the 2023 Wrestling World Championships held in Belgrade’s Stark Arena. The victory was not just a personal achievement for Mićić but also a proud moment for Serbia. “Serbia is part of my blood and I couldn’t be happier to give this gold medal to the Serbian people,” said Mićić after his historic win.
While wrestling and soccer are vastly different sports, the spirit of triumph shared by Stevan Mićić and Tottenham Hotspur transcends these differences.
