Australia is experiencing winter while the rest of the globe, including North America, is baking under the summer sun. Another outstanding video from the Australian surfer who goes by Surfing with Noz on social media has been posted to his YouTube page despite the frigid winter weather. Noah Wallis, better known by his surf coaching and content creation moniker “Surfing with Noz,” got his start in the sport on a bodyboard in his native Sydney, Australia. His obsession with surfing developed as he did, and in 2021 he even brought a GoPro to provide his viewers with high-definition footage.

The surfer filmed at two different breaks—Bowly Rights and Novelty Reef—for the video. The footage begins with him cruising in Bowly Rights, where the surf is noticeably different from what we’re used to. He comments on how unusual the waves are since their height varies constantly. There were no other surfers on his spot, he said, so he could do anything he wanted. The surfer attempted aerials and barrels in the first session, but the waves were too inconsistent to pull off either maneuver successfully.

Amidst all the commotion on the waves, the surfer pauses to express gratitude to the viewers for enabling him to purchase a new vehicle. Wallis says, “Thank you so much,” while thanking his audience for being by his side. Wallis and his companion, Jasper Welsh, continued their surf trip to Novelty Reef. Both surfers rushed headfirst into the water and tried a variety of moves. At first, they both had trouble with the waves because of the variability of the wave heights, but as the waves improved, they were soon able to do impressive surfing maneuvers.
