“VIOLENCE IS COMING” – WWE Legend Teases AEW Debut

AEW Dynamite saw a significant title change. Brodie Lee (formerly known as Luke Harper in WWE) faced TNT Champion Cody Rhodes. Lee won the title, and he and his Dark Order wreaked havoc after the match. The attack on the Rhodes family prompted a wrestling veteran to chime in.

WWE legend Tommy Dreamer announces his AEW debut

WWE legend Dreamer has appeared previously on AEW. Last year, he was a part of the brand’s inaugural pay-per-view “Double-Or-Nothing.” He was also a backstage producer. However, Saturday’s events prompted Tommy Dreamer to issue an open challenge to Brodie Lee. Dreamer tweeted shortly after the show –

Next week also marks the first AEW Dynamite live show amidst the pandemic. Fans are hoping to see the veteran back in action.

Recap of AEW Main Event

The events that prompted Dreamer are grueling. Lee and Cody faced each other in a Squash Match. After Brodie Lee defeated Cody, the Dark Order came out to celebrate with the new TNT Champion.

Cody was put on a stretcher and taken away as the Dark Order attacked Arn Anderson. In the closing moments, Dark Order pushed Cody off the stretcher. To add more impact, Brodie hit the injured Cody with a bag in his face.

QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes were also attacked backstage because of their relationship with Cody. Post that, Anna Jay choked out Brandi Rhodes as she tried to help the injured Rhodes.

In the end, Brodie dumped the contents of the bag, and it happened to be the destroyed old version of the TNT Championship.

As of now, there is no update on Cody or Brodie Lee. All eyes are on next week’s episode.
