A Tragic incident unfolded on Highway No. 24 in Chalerm Phrakiat district, Buriram province. A 52-year-old military officer found himself at the center of a tragic accident. The heart-wrenching collision involved six bicycles. It resulted in the loss of two lives, with four individuals left injured and the bicycles in a state of severe damage.

The military officer, identified as Chatchapetch, has since taken a path of remorse and responsibility. Alongside his parents, he visited the families of the deceased, earnestly seeking forgiveness for the dreadful incident.

According to reports, the first victim, 64-year-old Pichanon, was accorded a solemn ceremony at Wat Hua Saphan in Nangrong district, Buriram province. They planned his funeral rites for the afternoon. The second victim, 65-year-old Narongchai, a retired veterinarian, got his final respects at Wat Nong Samet. This place is also in the Nangrong district. The funeral proceedings are in place for the following day.

However, the legal repercussions of this tragic incident loom large.
