Cheerleaders work equally hard as the players. As a testament to the ultimate dedication of the cheerleaders ahead of the upcoming season of high school football, girls from Medina Varsity High School opted for car washing as their motto is to raise funds for the upcoming season.

A total of eight members of the cheerleading team participated in the car washing event along with one of the head coaches who also took part in this fundraising initiative.

Cheerleaders reflecting self-reliance

With the mindset of supporting the team even though there are fewer facilities available, Medina High School is about to enter a new season of football. As the players are ready to deliver on the field, the cheerleaders are getting ready to bring in the support of the crowd. However, they are still devoid of certain equipment like cheering shoes, the bands for their hair and other such types of necessities a cheerleader might require for their performance. Their hopes rely on funds and they’re trying their best to raise them. This car washing initiative and the participation of one of the head coaches describe the sheer hard work and will to support their team, even in bad times.

The cheerleading department is attaining new heights nearly every day. A group of cheerleaders won the international cheerleading award at a summer camp. They even get an invitation to perform at Citrus Bowl. However, there is no way that things come easy to you. There would always be some hardships that would come along the way.

Getting an invitation to perform at the Citrus Bowl is not enough. You have to arrange for the travel expenses as they do not cover it. A group of cheerleaders are trying hard to cover their travel expenses for their opportunity to perform on a very big stage. They are trying to raise funds by arranging breakfast and other such activities.
