As per the initial reports coming from the police, the man succumbed to his death from a possible mechanical issue with his bicycle. Azenith Smith, a spokesperson from the department stated that upon scrutinizing the CCTV footage, a gruesome truth has come to the forefront. It showed that the man got ejected over the handlebars while suffering from a technical fault in his bicycle.

However, while speaking further on the topic, the department also ruled out the possibility of foul play and overspeeding.
