The Nordic Gravel Series is back for its 2024 edition. This series was initiated with the aim of promoting gravel events and supporting athletes all over the Nordic region. Countries like Norway, Finland, and Sweden were included in the mix. After initiation, the tournament has been a hit, and its latest edition is supposed to be a bigger version, both in terms of popularity and finance. The tournament had been organized five times in the past, and each year, it was a success story.

This time, the athletes will have a lot to play for. The officially announced prize pool for the tournament stands at a whopping €10000 (roughly estimated to be around $11000). Such a prize pool will surely impress the participants and will give them the added zeal to perform better. With that being said, let’s dive into the details of the Nordic Gravel Series’ sixth edition.

Apart from announcing the lucrative prize pool, the entire schedule has also been dropped. While the €10000 prize money will be up for grabs, divided equally among the top performers of men and women, the route is also fascinating. The conclusion of the initial rounds will take place on September 21 at Finland’s Falling Leaves Lahti. This event will also be included in the Gravel Earth Series. However, the association of the Gravel Earth Series is not an exclusive one.

Bergslagen, which would be the penultimate event, was included in the 2023 edition of the Gravel Earth Series as well. The Nordic Gravel Series will kick off with a social event, Gravel Primavera. This event is scheduled to take place in Finland, on May 11. After this, the series will mark its official beginning in Uppsala, located in Sweden, on May 31. The race will consist of a 180 km challenge for the participants while offering a significant amount of series points.
