VIDEO: Malaysian GP Turned to Racing Inferno as Bike Ignites in Shocking Ablaze After a Crash Resulting in a Fiery Drama

Need for speed thrills us all. The bikes whizzing past the crowds with insane speed are a spectacle to watch for. Racing fans wait eagerly to catch their favorite stars pressing on the accelerator for the win. As fun and thrilling as this sounds, the racing realm is laden with perils at every step. Bikers have to be on top of their game every time they mount on the bike and start the engine. One mistake and they would be sent flying yards into the ground. Unfortunately, even after taking every possible precaution, there are instances when mishaps do happen. One such mishap is today’s focus, where a biker survived a scare. 

The video portrayed a harrowing crash. However, it was what happened after the crash that caught fans’ attention and they were shocked to the core.

The 32-second video was uploaded by MotoGP on X, formerly known as Twitter. It portrayed Aleix Espargaro dashing through the runway, with his eyes firmly fixated on the championship. Initially, the race looked to be going smoothly and everything seemed to be in control. However, one sharp turn and things went downhill from there. 

Espargaro, in an attempt to power through, lost control of his bike as he slid away. The bike, too, skidded forward and tumbled on the runway. Although the crash looked dangerous, Espargaro seemed to be unharmed by the impact. He got up on his feet almost instantly, without showing any signs of pain. Eager to finish the race, the Spaniard rushed towards his bike. Just as he was going to pick it up, he was jolted back by an occurrence.

The lower part of the bike suddenly caught fire. Sensing danger, Espargaro quickly took evasive action and ran away from his bike. Although this was a sad end to the race for him, he must be thankful to escape the crash unharmed. 

This video quickly gained traction, and users voiced their opinions about the same. 

Twitter world reacted to the flaming showdown video from Moto GP

The video shared with fans by the official Twitter handle of MotoGP received 150k views and more than 2k likes at the time of reporting the news.

The post has been aptly captioned, “Too hot to handle! 🔥”. Espargaro’s daring ride became even more spine-chilling with the unpredictable twist in events.

One of the users commented that he found the scene of Espargaro running away extremely hilarious.

Another Twitter user commented on the same tone. He wrote that it appeared to the user that the rider must have thought that a bomb was going to explode soon from the way he ran away from the spot.

Another user wrote that the incident turned the rider into Usain Bolt.

One fan wrote referring to Espargaro’s run that it must be the fastest he moved that day.
