The NBA is being hampered by net fails! As the current season is in full swing, teams are giving their full effort to clinch the coveted ring. However, to have an uninterrupted game, things need to run smoothly. Unfortunately, that was not the case when the Sacramento Kings met San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference. While the players were trying to outclass their opponents at every given chance, a bizarre fail halted the proceedings abruptly.

In the middle of the game, the net seemed to have an issue. Such malfunctions need to be addressed immediately, as they can affect the result of the game directly. Thus, out came the men with ladders inside the NBA court!

In a video uploaded on Twitter, formerly known as X, men approaching with ladders can be seen. The commentators seemed amused by the sight as they marched with a wooden ladder, which was orange in color. As the on-court staff were setting up the ladder, the crowd sounded very much frustrated. The camera zoomed in on the net, which portrayed a sorry state. One of the strings attached to the ring came off, which caused the problem.

The staff were prompt in their approach as they started to take out the defective net carefully. As soon as the defective one was removed, a fresh net was brought in and was being installed. As the staff were installing the net, the on-air commentator stated that the task was not at all easy. Ultimately, after a significant delay, everything was finally back to normal, and the play resumed. So, which team was able to keep their concentration intact and clinch the victory?

Spurs, on the other hand, are reeling at no. 13, with nine losses this season. The stark difference in ranking was also visible in the on-court performance. De’Aaron Fox had a splendid game as he clinched 43 points in the game, which was a season high.

Spurs, however, did not disappoint at the beginning. They played well and even had the game tied at 62 all at the break. However, things soon fell apart, and the Kings reigned supreme with a 129-120 victory. With this win, Sacramento extended their winning streak to five games. They will now be looking to replicate the success in all of their future games.
