Justine’s mother was the one who introduced her to ballet. Recently speaking to Elle, Justine shared her experience about her struggles.

 “He never really understood why I wanted to dance,” Lindsay says of her father. “He was like, ‘Is that who you are?’”

 “When I told my mom, she was like, ‘Okay, well, can you help me put my lashes on now?’” Lindsay remembers. “I think my dad always knew, but there was a denial stage, which every parent, whether you’re the mother or the father, will have. It’s that moment of, ‘Oh, my God, I don’t want this for my child.’”

Justine Lindsay not only fulfilled her own dream but also paved the way for others as well. She has had her own share of struggles but never gave up on her dreams.

Cheerleaders are not only performers but also brand representatives. They have the toughest job of keeping the audience entertained. Not many cheerleaders are paid well. Many of them work multiple jobs to take care of their needs.
