England Rugby Team took inspiration from tennis ahead of their World Cup match against Japan. The team has taken shelter at the Patrick Mouratoglou’s tennis academy. Moreover, the team looks relaxed before their match against Japan on Sunday.

The clash with Japan will be a high-octane match. Japan as a team is a compact unit and England will have to be at their absolute best to beat them. England put up a fantastic show against Argentina last week and won the match 27-10. They will look to maintain their form against Japan as well.

Mouratoglou’s Academy: A Home for Champions

Patrick Mouratoglou is a well-renowned tennis coach. He coached the legendary Serena Williams to nine Grand Slam titles. Not only Serena, but other world class tennis players have also trained with Patrick. The academy is filled with world class facilities and accommodation. England’s rugby team is currently staying there and using the facilities to prepare for their match against Japan.

“It’s my first Rugby World Cup but I’ve quickly learned it’s easy to get lost in everything that’s going on,” said full-back Freddie Steward. “The media circus and the hype around the RWC is amazing, but being at places like this, it’s nice to have that distraction and escape from that for a bit. And then you can really switch it on when the games come thick and fast. 

It’s always good to see teams in a relaxed mood before big games. Playing in a World Cup match is a matter of pride and pressure. Both the teams will feel the pressure when they come out on Sunday.

England Need to Bring Out Their Best Game

Jonny May, the winger from Gloucester, feels England will have to bring their best against Japan. Although England is focussing on their game but they cannot be casual against Japan.

“We’ll expect the best of Japan at this weekend, they have upset teams before,” said May.

Japan as a team has grown a lot over the years, and teams respect them. It will all come down to who executes their plans well and take right decisions. Hopefully, the fans get to see a wonderful contest and the best team wins.
