It is not a smart idea to skate anywhere and everywhere. While skating takes a significant level of expertise to master, it also has its limitations.  A video that went viral transpires on the same line too! Although it did not involve any fatal injuries, it surely was a reason for a lifelong embarrassment for the two skaters. 

The video focuses on a couple of skaters who wanted to steal the spotlight at an indoor facility. However, they did manage to be the talk of the evening, but in a way, they perhaps did not want to. So what exactly happened with the skaters? What went wrong? Let’s dive into the video and see for ourselves. 

Overconfidence leads to skating disaster

The video in question was uploaded by House of Highlights on Instagram. In the clip, we see the setting of an indoor facility with a slanting platform followed by staircases. The initial few seconds seemed to be perfectly fine when things started to go horribly wrong. As the video progressed, a couple of guys could be seen approaching the slanting platform. 

What was striking was the fact that both of them had skating blades attached to them. One of the guys was wearing a gray graphic t-shirt with blue denims. He also wore a dark grey jacket to layer with his outfit. The other one wore an all-black outfit with black jeans and a shirt, coupled with a black woolen cap. As the guy wearing blue denim looked steady on his skateboard, he approached the end of the platform with ease. Unfortunately, trouble arose when the skateboard bumped into the ground and the guy took a tumble and skidded away into the floor.

As if this was not enough, the other one in all black too, followed suit and took a nasty tumble. He fell off the skateboard and slid concerningly into the ground. Although we do not have an update about their injuries, we hope no one was seriously harmed. 

This video was bound to gather a lot of attention and surely it did. 

Netizens react in a hilarious manner 

The Instagram post captioned, “They were both okay. 😅🙏“, received about 90k likes in less than 24 hours. More than 6.6k users shared the post at the time of reporting this incident. Fans took to the comment section to share their hilarious reactions and opinions.

One of the Instagram users hilariously commented, “penguins when they see a fish”, referring to the way penguins catch their prey.

Another user sharing personal thoughts commented, “on everything the slidin looks like the best part”.

“until you slide all the way down & hit your face on the wall like a cartoon 😭“, wrote another user.

One fan tried to remember a known game and referring to the same wrote, “This is the subway stairs from the computer skating game i can’t remember the name”.

While another fan sharing his thoughts mentioned, “You win as long as you dont fall and hit your head”.
