A viral video circulating on Instagram showed a young boy attempting an audacious stunt on a scooter that ended horribly wrong. What started out with smiling faces and bubbling excitement quickly transformed into cries of pain and gasps of worry. Scooter stunt ends with a brutal injury

Uploaded on Instagram by the page ‘skatebreak’, the video didn’t show a stunt with a skateboard. Instead, it showed a young boy on board a scooter, all decked up in his black T-shirt and vans.

He charged ahead and took a big leap onto the railing in front. He landed the scooter perfectly on it but didn’t account for the pole. Just seconds later, it came in his way, and he crashed into it.

He fell face-first on the floor and, in the process, also violently twisted his ankle. As the stunt went wrong, the scooter went flying away and someone in the background can be heard saying “Ooo”. The boy looked up at the camera with great concern and also with the realization of his injury.

As mentioned in the beginning, the skating page shared a scooter video, prompting this user to say, “What has the world come to? A skate page posting scooter clips is wild.” The last few seconds of the video showed the despair and regret on the young boy’s face, which one user picked up and spoke about it, saying, “The look of utter confusion when he realized something’s up with his ankle.” It definitely was an unpleasant sight to witness and one could only imagine the boy went through in those final few seconds.

People always run the risk of hurting themselves when they set out to pull off such stunts. The boy paid a massive price for the thrill of executing a dangerous move.
