In the most bizarre matchups, a lady Santa Claus, and the Grinch went one-on-one against each other in a wrestling showdown. As the two prepared to fight, the loud cheers of the crowd indicated the amount of support they had for both wrestlers. 

Unfortunately, only one could win, and indeed, the lady Santa seemed to have started on an aggressive note. As the two grappled, the anticipation among the crowd intensified. So, who had the last laugh? Let us find out below. 

The Grinch suffers a hilarious takedown in a WWE faceoff 

The video was uploaded by SportsCenter recently on Instagram. In the short clip, we catch a glimpse of a couple of wrestlers who were dressed as the iconic characters of Santa Claus and the Grinch. While one of them donned the iconic red Santa suit, the other one sported a green Grinch suit with black wrestling gear. The setup of the video indicated that the match was being held at an indoor wrestling facility, further details of which were unavailable. 

As the match started, both the wrestlers grabbed each other and grappled for a while. However, things took a surprising turn when the wrestler dressed as Santa, got hold of her opponent’s head and took him down with a vicious German suplex! This was enough for the judges to declare the winner as the Grinch was thrown out of the circle. However, Mrs. Santa Claus did not stop there. She went over and pinned her opponent with her arms firmly placed over the Grinch’s neck.

The post captioned, “The Grinch got slammed 😮”, received more than 3.2 million views besides 106k likes at the time of writing this article. The video was titled, “Mrs. Claus wasn’t playing around with the Grinch 😤”, and immediately grabbed the attention of Instagram users.

The Brock Lesnar style suplex was so well executed by the woman that one of the users commented, “WWE abouta sign someone’s auntie ☠️”. Another fan, who too was left awestruck, wrote, “I was legit not expecting that 🤯”.

“Grinch getting slammed but Mrs. Claus getting clapped…Later by him 🤣”, wrote another user as the reality has generally been the exact opposite. Another fan too mentioned, “But in reality it is the other way round”.

“No time wasted 😂😂😂”, commented another Instagram user. While the match might have been carried out lightheartedly, there is no denying that the wrestler dressed as Santa Claus was technically sound. Her execution of the German Suplex was a near-perfect one followed by the pinfall attempt.
