Indian captain Virat Kohli, along with former captain MS Dhoni are partners in crime. And their crime? Stealing runs from fielders. This is according to the Indian captain himself, who on Wednesday posted a picture of him on Twitter with a caption: “Partners in crime. Crime : stealing doubles from fielders at the boundary . Guess who.
The person he was asking to guess, wouldn’t be very difficult even if you remotely follow Indian cricket. The picture had MS Dhoni with his back facing the camera, whom Kohli seemed to refer as “partner in crime.”
The way Kohli accumulated close to 20,000 runs in international cricket needs very little description. A typical Kohli innings in an ODI would contain a lot of singles and doubles. He rarely hits the ball in the air and yet manages to score at a decent rate. Perhaps, this low risk approach has helped him rise to a level that he has in international cricket.
And whenever he is batting with the likes of Dhoni, he doesn’t need to worry about the player at the other end, for Dhoni is one of those players that can match or probably even outrun Kohli.
This is how a few people on Twitter reacted to the post-
Dhoni review system, Mr. Finisher etc ?

This is so cute, please! Get your partner-in-crime back on the field, asap. Our patience is running thin and we miss you lots @msdhoni.

Meanwhile, Kohli, along with his team, will be looking forward to the historic day & night test match, which will start from November 22, at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. So far, the response from the fan seems to be good going by the complete sale of tickets for the first four days.
