Indian captain Virat Kohli was in a mood to have some fun on social media. Yuzvendra Chahal had posted a photo on Instagram with Kieron Pollard who has been in India for the ongoing  series between India and West Indies. The image seemed to have been shot in a candid pose. Both the players were in  their training kits. Chahal posted the photo with a funny caption where he seemed sarcastic about the weight of the bat.

“10 kilo ka bat, 2.5 kilo ka haath !!” the caption read (bat of 10 kilos in hands which weigh 2.5 kilos). Kohli, who happens to captains Chahal in his IPL franchise apart from the national team,  brought out his funny side.

A comment from the official account of Virat Kohli read: “Abey Teri thigh se badi calf hai uski (His calf is bigger than your thigh).”

West Indies won the first ODI in MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai on the back of centuries from Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer. India’s yound duo of Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant had built a good partnership to bail India out of trouble after having been asked to bat first. But India were eventually blown out by the West Indian duo and lost by eight wickets.

It was a different story for India in the second ODI. They posted a mammoth 387 runs after having been asked to bat first once again. With series at stakes, India and West Indies will be going in with full strength for what is expected to be another cracker of a contest in Orissa.
