Team News:

Kent

Heino Kuhn has an average of over 50 in the tournament. The ability of Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi to bowl a few tight overs and contribute with the ball can makes him a good option for fantasy teams. With 17 wickets in 9 matches, Hardus Viljoen is hard to ignore.

Surrey

Allrounder Sam Curran looks a good option for any fantasy team, with his ability to perform both with the bat and the ball. His brother Tom Curran could be another good option. Opener Aaron Finch, though not on top of his form, can be destructive at the top. Imran Tahir has been consistent with his leg-spin and would be good pick in any fantasy team.

Predicted Playing XI

Kent

Heino Kuhn, Mohammad Nabi, Mitchell Claydon, Adam Milne, Daniel Bell-Drummond, Sam Billings (c), Alex Blake, Hardus Viljoen, Zak Crawley, Fred Klaassen, Oliver Robinson (wk)

Surrey

Aaron Finch, Gareth Batty, Jade Dernbach (c), Mark Stoneman, Imran Tahir, Ben Foakes (wk), Jordan Clark, Tom Curran, Sam Curran, Ollie Pope, Will Jacks

Injury and Availability News:

Although there are no fresh injury concerns, it remains to be seen if Ollie Pope, who was called to the England squad takes part in the match.

Weather and pitch report

Although no rain is expected in Canterbury, the conditions might remain overcast, assisting swing bowling under the lights.

Off the four matches played in Canterbury this season, two were abandoned without a ball being bowled. In the first two matches, Kent put up a good score on the board and made it really difficult for the opponents to chase.

H2H record

Last year, Surrey scored a mammoth 250 runs against Kent, only to see the match end as a draw. Earlier this season, Kent easily chases 54 runs in a rain shortened game. On three previous meetings prior to last year, Kent had beaten Surrey on two occasions.
