Warner Bros. can surprise everyone with Gotham Knights at E3 2021

Warner Bros. own DC and distributes all of its comics, movies, and games. Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are the two big upcoming games based on DC Comics’ superhero movies. While WB Games Montreal is developing on the former, Rocksteady Studios is in charge of the latter.

Both the titles are expected to release somewhere in 2022.

It is worth noting that DC Comics itself hosts DC FanDome convention for its fans. It certainly makes more sense to reveal Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at DC’s own event. However, the unmatched popularity of E3 2021 might motivate Warner Bros. to tread a different path and drop some teaser trailers for the aforementioned titles.

Similarly, LEGO is organizing its first-ever LEGO CON on June 26, 2021. Hence, it is unlikely that Warner Bros. will involve any news regarding LEGO Star Wars games at E3 2021.

Developers that might reveal their new projects at E3 2021

Warner Bros. own both NetherRealm Studios and Monolith Productions. The former has developed the popular Mortal Kombat and Injustice game series. On the flip side, Monolith Productions has released classics such as F.E.A.R., Middle-earth series, and Tron over the years.

Rumors have suggested that NetherRealm Studios is currently working on a Marvel vs DC fighting game, or Injustice 3. An announcement regarding both these games can be equally massive, which is why many believe that Warner Bros. will feature the studio at E3 2021.

Monolith Productions hasn’t released a new game in three years. E3 2021, to say the least, could be the occasion to put the studio back into the limelight by announcing its next project.

Hogwarts Legacy

Last, but not least, there’s Hogwarts Legacy, which is based on the massively popular Harry Potter franchise. The reveal trailer for the game released in September 2020, and Warner Bros. might reveal its second trailer at E3 2021.

The hype around this action RPG is already gigantic, and getting to know more about it will undoubtedly be a delight for the fans.
