Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has several popular DC games under its belt. Perhaps one of the greatest of all time is Injustice Gods Among Us. Recently we learned that Injustice would be available on all platforms for a certain period of time. However, a recent piece of intel about Suicide Squad just shook us.
Suicide Squad game might come real soon. Warner Brother recently registered a domain with the name suicidesquad.com. This means, that they have had the plans from way before and now the wheels are set in motion.
For those of us unaware of Suicide Squad, they are a bunch of criminals from the DC Universe. Now there is a catch in their team. Amanda Waller, a US Govt operative in the DC comics took charge of this mission. Her plan was to bring together a bunch of bad guys to do some good.
Warner Bros register Suicide Squad domain
The squad that was built by Amanda Waller consisted of members like Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, Dr. Light, El Diablo, etc. This team would eventually get a reduced sentence on their criminal records if they delivered their end.
However, Waller never planned to cut them loose. The movie was not entirely popular despite the likes of Will Smith and Margot Robbie starring in it. Nevertheless, it gave us an opportunity to delve into this storyline.
This news is more than just exciting for us, DC fans. We have previously played with the villains in games like Injustice.

What would the game be like?
Injustice is more of a 1v1 fight game, like Mortal Combat. Suicide Squad, on the other hand, might be totally different and quite possible might feature a multiplayer mode. The beauty of the Suicide Squad lies in the unpredictability and chaos that fuels the entire mixture. Up until now, we only heard rumors about a Batman game with the “Court of Owls” plotline.
This piece of information just adds to our excitement. Most members of the Suicide Squad have had close encounters with the Dark Knight. Hopefully, we will get to see some of that in the game too. For now, the best we can do is keep a weather eye on the horizon and wait for WB to come up with an official statement.
