WATCH: Aakash Chopra Fails to Defend While Playing Gully Cricket

Former India player Aakash Chopra is a well-known personality in the cricketing circuit. Although his numbers at the International level may not speak about his ability, he had a great defensive technique which helped India during their tours of Australia and Pakistan in 2003-04.

The former Delhi opener is now a well known face of commentary circle where he has achieved a lot of success but there are some trolls who questions his ability of commentry and knowledge on the game considering his rather below average stats.

However, Aakash Chopra has showed everyone that he has a brilliant brain which can do well to pay attention to him sometimes by commenting on some issues. Aakash Chopra is now one of the commentators for Star Sports for the Series between India and South Africa. The matches are being televised on Star Sports who shared a rather funny video of him playing cricket in gully cricket style with the rest of the commentating team during the ongoing series.

However, one of the names who were involved in the fun video session between the commentators was another former India player VVS Laxman who bought Chopra’s short stay in the middle with an incredible one bounce catch.

In the video shared by Star Sports on Twitter, Aakash Chopra was seen batting and attempting to defend the delivery. He played the ball with a light hand. However, VVS Laxman dives in front to take a brilliant one-handed catch as the batsman later regreted playing the ball in that direction. The video, however, has gone viral on the internet in no time.
