Keanu Reeves is one of the pressing reasons why Cyberpunk 2077 is getting majorly hyped before release. With the release date drawing closer, fans are seeing more of the Reeves in Cyberpunk every day. And not just the character he plays in the game, but the enigma himself.
In a second commercial spot for the CD Projekt game, Reeves appeared again with some valuable advice. Titled ‘No Limits’, the spot gives us a sneak peek at the Night City and its citizens.
Night City seems to be sprawling with augmented citizens with cybernetic enhancements. Reeves appears amidst it all to remind us of our potential inside the city.
“If you can hack it, the future is yours for the taking.”
When John Wick himself gives you advice, you better be listening.
“The only limit to what you can do is what you are willing to become,” he adds.
This in fact seems like a valuable hint about impersonating characters in the game. In Cyberpunk 2077, players can choose to become whatever character they want. The storylines will therefore vary according to the choice.
Keanu’s character, Johnny Silverhand, plays one of the pivotal roles in the game’s story.
Furthermore, Reeves’ advice can have more meanings than one. As with any role-playing games, impersonating a character will also require players to make choices for it to progress the story. These choices will reflect on how we choose to portray our character morally in the game.
Recently, news broke of CDPR asking employees to work an extra day in the week in order to finish the development of the game in time for the launch date. Many fans, who have been waiting for the game eagerly, have admitted they wouldn’t mind waiting a little longer if it means no crunching for the devs and a better-finished product. However, it seems the studio is going ahead with the current schedule.
Cyberpunk 2077 releases on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 19. It will be playable on Xbox Series X and PS5 at launch.
