During the Q2 session at the Canadian Grand Prix, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen was eliminated in spectacular fashion. As it turned out, Haas driver Kevin Magnussen was on a hot lap and was desperate to get out of Q2.

Unfortunately, on the final corner, he overcooked it and his right rear tire grazed the Wall of Champions. The Danish driver then spun and crashed into the pit wall on the other side of the track. This obviously meant that it was race over for Magnussen.

Joining Max Verstappen on the sidelines is Daniil Kvyat, Alexander Albon, Antonio Giovinazzi and Magnussen’s teammate, Romain Grosjean. So, in other words, only nine cars will take to the track when Q3 finally begins.

Seeing his teammate in the wall, Grosjean could not help but cry out in anguish over the lost opportunity to get into Q3 and the Top 10
